Sending Pakistani Clothes as an Eid Gift: How to Send Outfits to Family in the UK, USA, UAE and Canada
Want to send an Eid gift of Pakistani clothes to a sister in London, a mother in Dubai or a wife in Toronto? How to send stitched or unstitched outfits from Pakistan as a gift, what it costs to ship clothes abroad, and how to get the timing right.
For many families, an Eid gift isn't complete without clothes: a new lawn suit for a sister, a formal for a mother, a kurta for a brother. When your family lives abroad (or you do), sending it is the hard part. Brand websites often charge heavily for international delivery, many don't stitch, and few let you add a gift note.
Here's how to send Pakistani clothes as a gift to family in the UK, the USA, the UAE, Canada or Australia, and how to make it arrive on time.
Choose the gift: unstitched or stitched?
Unstitched suits are the classic Eid gift in Pakistan. They're easy to choose without knowing someone's size, and the recipient can have them stitched as she likes. Abroad, though, not everyone has a good tailor, and stitching costs more.
Stitched outfits make a far better gift abroad: ready to wear on Eid morning. To get the fit right without spoiling the surprise:
- ask a sister or friend for the recipient's measurements
- copy a kameez she wears often (it can be measured, or sent to us to copy)
- choose a relaxed style like a kaftan or an A-line kurta, which is forgiving on fit
Browse our styles for ideas, or buy from any Pakistani brand in our stores guide.
How much does it cost to ship clothes from Pakistan?
Shipping is charged by weight and destination. A lawn suit weighs roughly half a kilo, a heavier formal a little more. Sending several gifts in one consolidated box costs much less than one parcel per gift, because the first kilo carries most of the cost.
You can estimate your box in our shipping calculator, with prices in your own currency. As a guide, delivery takes about a week to the UAE and a little longer to the UK, USA, Canada and Australia, but it gets busier before Eid.
Making it feel like a gift
When you send a request with us, tick "This is a gift":
- the box goes to the recipient's address, not yours
- we leave prices out of the box
- we write your note on a card inside: "Eid Mubarak, Ammi", "For my favourite sister"
(The courier's customs paperwork still has to show the value, as the law requires, but the box itself won't.)
Eid gift timeline
Work back from Eid day:
- 6 to 8 weeks before: choose the outfits. Eid collections sell out fast.
- 5 to 6 weeks before: get measurements (quietly!) and confirm the style.
- 3 to 5 weeks before: stitching, as everyone in Pakistan is busy before Eid.
- 2 to 3 weeks before: ship, with tracking you can share or keep secret.
Our Eid planning timeline explains each step in more detail.

Frequently asked questions
Can I send Pakistani clothes as a gift to the UK?
Yes. Buy unstitched or stitched outfits in Pakistan (or have them stitched by us), tick "This is a gift" on your request, and we ship them to the recipient's UK address with your note and no prices in the box.
How long does it take to ship clothes from Pakistan to the USA?
As a guide, around 7 to 12 working days with a tracked courier, longer before Eid and in busy seasons. Our shipping calculator shows the current estimate for each country.
What is a good Eid gift for a wife or mother abroad?
A stitched formal or a festive lawn suit in her size, ready to wear on Eid morning, with a personal note. A matching dupatta or a pair of khussas makes it extra special.
Can I send several gifts to different people?
Yes. Each gift can be its own request to its own address, or several gifts can go together in one box to one family member to share out, which is cheaper.
